Luxury is About Doing the Right Thing

Chris Adams got his start as a pool attendant with Ritz Carlton. From that job and the future years he spent with the company, he learned the culture of what luxury was and what Ritz Carlton stood.

Now, as an international luxury hospitality disruptor and CEO of lifestyle consulting agency, Ellis Adams, he and his team help brands open new hotels around the world and teach their staff that luxury hospitality is about how you make people feel and how to positively leave an impact on people’s lives.

And, that includes the food and beverage programs these hotels provide.

Listen as Tracy and Chris talk about how food and beverage can create luxury experiences for everyone, why is leadership is so important and the future of hospitality.

CEO of International Hospitality Consulting Firm Ellis Adams Group.

What do safe, inclusive & sustainable food and beverage experiences look like to you?

There are a couple questions I always like to ask. If I can answer these two questions I think we are going in the right direction.
1. Am I doing the “right” thing?
2. What positive impact am i having on others?

Do you have an example of a situation that negatively effected you and/or other individuals or groups’ food and beverage experience?

Anytime I see a server or bartender that is not delivering exceptional service simply because they weren’t trained properly it breaks my heart. They are leaving money on the table to better themselves and they don’t even realize it many times.

What do you wish people knew about what you do?

Our passion for maximizing others and finding ways to deliver exceptional experiences.

What is a best practice you use/or have seen to create safe and inclusive F&B experiences?

I will go right back to the first question and honestly give the same answer as it applies perfectly.

Just for fun…What are your favorite food and drink?

Whatever is in front of me. Haha
