What do safe, inclusive & sustainable food and beverage experiences look like to you?
A setting where people feel comfortable and welcomed and the attendee feels a sense of belonging.
What do you wish people knew about what you do?
I think sometimes people think we are “party planners” and don’t understand all of the behind-the-scenes attention to detail. When events go smoothly – they don’t understand that careful planning, collaboration, respectful communication, and staying one or two steps ahead of everything are keys to our success.
What is a best practice you use/or have seen to create safe and inclusive F&B experiences?
Clear, respectful communication – to the culinary teams you are working with, as well as with the attendees and their needs.
Just for fun…What are your favorite food and drink?
Well. . . this is tough as I love lots of different types of food and drink, but here are my favorites:
Food – Cheese and Crackers
Drink – I love wine – both red and white – Prisoner (red), Cakebread Chardonnay, and Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc (white) are special treats.
